CARSA finishes the SME Performance Review Study
CARSA has finished the SME Performance Review 2012/2013 for the European Commission, which provides a general view of the size of the SMEs and their role in the European economy. This study, considered as one of the main European Commission tools to monitor and evaluate the countries progress when implementing the Small Business Act, was presented in Vilnius (Lithuania), during the SME Assembly 2013, focused on the promotion of SMEs and the European entrepreneurship.
This report presents the SMEs performance according some key indicators (number of companies, generated employment and added value) and analysing the economic policy addressed to SMEs per country, with special attention to intensive knowledge-based sectors and high technology manufacturing industry.
As a complement to the study, CARSA has developed the supportive website, in which the results of every country are available.
