CARSA leads an international consortium of companies to support the Department of Industry of the European Commission in the evaluation of industrial competitiveness and market performance of SMEs.

During the next 4 years, the European Commission may request the consortium led by CARSA advice for assessing existing policies and industry initiatives, and identification of influential structural and microeconomic factors, related to small and medium enterprises. One of the objectives of this framework contract is also preparing recommendations for the future development of industrial policies for the Commission and other member states of the European Union.

The work of CARSA will be reinforced at the consortium with international companies of the consulting sector as London Economics, Ramboll Management Consulting, and Logotech and also the research institute RAND Europe.
